She’s made a mistake
A very costly one
And despite the fact that he’s forgiven her
She can’t just continue like it was nothing
To every mistake there’s a consequence
But she seemed to forget there’s a lesson to learn too
She can’t run from her inner demons
She can’t run from herself any longer
She’s stuck with this torment forever
Cos no matter what she does
Her mistake still catches up with her
She can’t seem to find peace anywhere
Not until it dawned on her
That she had to forgive herself first
She had to learn to let go of her past and learn from it
Because she alone was the power source of her past haunting her
After all, it’s just a reminder that she’s still human
