‘Some people are so poor, the only thing they have is money’ Trust me when I say I haven’t been able to get this quote out of my head since I stumbled upon it a couple of weeks back. In a world where the definition of wealth has been limited to money and material things, a lot of poor people move around in the finest cars, dress in the most elegant apparals, live in the biggest houses completely unaware or nonchalant to their stark reality of poverty.
In a disruptive generation where what everyone thinks of is money, the 5yrs old child, the 17yrs old teenager, the 30yrs old man and even the 80yrs old grandparent. We have all become prisoners to money, of course money answereth all things but what happens when we begin to answer to money? How? you ask but when we do anything to make money,at the expense of our relationships, health, integrity and even our very own lives, haven’t we become prisoners to money? When all we think about morning, noon and night is money related, how to make it, how to spend it, haven’t we become prisoners to money?
However, this doesn’t make money bad you know? {Toothache doesn’t necessarily mean candy is bad, I mean it’s your fault you didn’t apply caution.} Everyone needs money but it doesn’t have to be loved or worshipped neither doesn’t necessarily make one qualify as being wealthy. So if money is not wealth, what then is wealth?….

This is beautiful.. We live in a society where money defines the content of a man, if only our eyes can be opened, the prison will become empty.
