Hi there! Thanks for coming back, if you haven’t read Story (A) this is going to make absolutely no sense so do well to read that first.
This man who seemed to be in his early 30s parked his car and stepped out. At this point I was still at the passenger’s seat at the back, trying to figure out what to do and also praying beneath my breath. My Lyft driver explains to the man how he ran out of gas and still has a passenger in the car who is still a couple of miles away from her destination and guess what? This man asked for where I was going and Alas! he was going in the same direction too and offered to drop me off. I still knew nothing about this until my Lyft driver came to tell me and I had to make my decision.
Okay, here I am, in a new country, with two strangers I know nothing about out, with a phone I could have used to call my uncle which I didn’t for some unknown reason, different what if questions crossed my mind, “what if this was all planned by these two men?”, “what if it wasn’t planned before but they just planned something now?” Lol, “what if he is lying about his destination?” blah blah blah so I did what any normal human would do (maybe not), I decided to go with him. I’m a Christian, I’ve prayed and I trust God nothing bad would happen to me.
So I bid the Lyft driver who wouldn’t stop apologizing goodbye and went with this mysterious man. (I’m sooo tempted to stop this here and make you wait again but being the good girl that I am, I won’t so you’re welcome) I sit in the front passenger seat this time around and then, we begin our ‘journey’…
Sorry but the temptation is too strong, promise to finish this in the next part. Stay tuned, stay strong. Kisses!
