Yo! So it’s been a while I know, missed you too. Anyway, as some of you may know, I turned 19 a couple of days ago and I’m so excited! Made my first birthday post on here last year and it was fun reading back on how I felt so do read or re-read too at Birthday post.just so you can get an insight into where I was then and where I am now. Feb 6 was on a wednesday, right in the middle of the week and I had an exam at school that night so I pretty much spent the whole day at the library then sat for the exam in the night and that was it, didn’t get to do much but the calls and wishes from friends and family was beautiful and I do appreciate it. But I did get to grab ice-cream with friends during the weekend (see end of post for pictures) and that was super fun.

Now on to the “deep sturvs”, absurd fun fact about me, I don’t like odd numbers, I just think they’re weird but here I am, right in the middle of 18 and 20, 19 is definitely one of my least favourite numbers but don’t even ask me why cos I don’t know, however this is different, I’VE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING 19 SINCE I WAS 17 due to some personal, exciting reasons, you’ll probably get to know later.

First, a little about last year, it was AMAZING I tell you. The best I had had so far and it’s more exciting to know this would be even better. I feel like I experienced soooo much growth this last year and I’m really thankful about it, growth in my faith, growth in my very own being and what I stand for. I’ve met such wonderful people too, if you read last year’s you’d see where I said I was just a new girl in a new place with no friends but I’m glad that’s changed and God’s brought beautiful people in my life. One thing I’m a little concerned about though, even though I’m not sure I should be, is how my circle of friends grows smaller by the year, I think that’s okay though, not everyone is met to be in one’s life forever, some people have specific seasons and reasons or maybe I just suck at sustaining relationships and need to work on it 🤷‍♀️.

I’m happy I’m better than I was last year, it’s amazing how so much has changed in a year yet at the same time I’m still just me and not so much has changed, lol. I’m really thankful to God for all the good things the past year brought and even more thankful for all the goodies in this one. I’m thankful for good people, I’m thankful for the good and not so good but enlightening moments. So for this birthday, I’m celebrating peace of mind, I’m celebrating joy, I’m celebrating good health. Again, I’m super pumped for all this year has to bring, ready and excited for the journey. Definitely enjoying my last year of being a teenager!

Oh, also, this year I’m doing this thing where I read at least 1 non-school book per month, thing is school is super busy and inasmuch as it is very important, I still don’t want it to be all I’m doing as there’s so much more out there. So as regards to that, I was thinking I could do a book review each month, just to let you know what I’m reading, hopefully make recommendations and also in a way to keep me accountable. PLEASE do let me know in the comments if it’s something you’ll be interested in, I really think it’ll be beneficial for both parties.

THANK YOU FOR READING! Hope you like the pictures. Please don’t forget to comment below. Lots of love!💞

Readers are leaders, right?! So do read up a non school book a month. I await your recommendation.

Nice decision to make on the reading part… And about friends, your little circle of friends can do what any large scale of friends would, just make sure you keep making an impact with your little friends and you should be impacted also through them
