Have you ever seen beauty products that enhance inner beauty?
There are thousands of products that enhance our appearance – our physical beauty.
Mind you, our outward appearances wane and become less attractive as the years go by. Even beauty products won’t be able to hide the wrinkles anymore but a life that reflects Christ has this unfading beauty.
God wants us to have a true beauty that comes from within. Check up 1st Peter 3:3-4. This is where I got a deep understanding of true beauty.
In that passage, God was not telling us not to look good but He wants us to know that there’s just one way to truly have the unfading beauty. It is having a gentle and quiet spirit which is of great worth in his sight.
We manifest this gentle and quiet spirit through humility, showing grace, compassion, tenderness.
Being gentle doesn’t mean being timid, being alone, withdrawing from others. In 1st Peter 3, it means having a graceful soul and being meek.
‘Quiet’ in this text describes a peaceful heart, a heart that is not even upset or bothered by chaos.
I read this somewhere -‘the only way to be truly beautiful is to be loving. Otherwise, it’s just congratulations on your face.’
Let the beauty of Christ be seen in you. This beauty is unfading; it is eternal, and it is the most precious kind of beauty.

Nice one Demilade…..true beauty lies within. Outside beauty will fade away but inner beauty is worth more than jewel.
