It’s my birthday! So I feel like I have so much to say but don’t know where to start from lol but in my usual annual fashion, here’s 2022 birthday post. I’ve had the most memorable moments in this past year and at the same time, shared less for some reason butttttt 21 was amazing! I already anticipated last year in coming of age that it was going to be a year of transition and it truly was.
I got to celebrate so many milestones, from graduating college which honestly was a long time coming to getting my first job ever, feeling like a whole adult.
To getting a car and learning how to drive which honestly was a lot harder than I expected to be honest. (Random fact about me, prior to driving, I couldn’t instinctively tell my left from my right, crazy right! Let me know if you can relate in the comment section lol).
To getting baptized, which I had always longed to do since I started actively living out my Faith as a Christian. It truly was a year filled with many new experiences.
Coincidentally, I just finished my read on The Defining Decade, which I highly recommend by the way, and one of the lessons that stood out to be most is how I need to be intentional about how I live out my twenties.
So that’s what this new year is going to be about. To be able to look back and say my twenties were lived intentionally, it’ll start from each year, this year, each month, each week, each day, making each moment count. I’m really looking forward to how this year works out and at the same time I’ll be doing my best to work it out the way I want it to rather by leaving things to chance.
21 was definitely a welcome to adulting year so cheers to this new age! Cheers to growth, to intentionality, to relationships, to fun times, to spirituality, cheers to adulting.
